Help Please!!!
I'm so glad I have discovered this site. I hope you can help! my problem is that my female leo has been having eating problems. It's been going on four about four months. When it first started I just figured she had gotten sick of crickets so I switched her to mealworms. She wouldn't eat those either...but I was able to force feed those to her. About a month ago I wasnt able to force feed her anymore she just spits them out. Her tail is really tiny...I'm afraid I could lose her at anytime. The temps are fine. She still drinks water. PLEASE HELP ME!

We will need some more info:
1. what is her cage setup? Substrate?
2. what are her temps?
3. how old is the gecko?
4. do you have a humid hide?
5. does she have access to water all the time?
this info will help us out... a vet check may be in order for your girl...

you may try getting the daytime temp up to about 88 in one area to help with digestion...
is the other female larger then her? older?

she COULD be stressed by the other female, you COULD try seperating them if you have an extra 10 gallon tank with a Under Tank Heater sitting around, and see if her problem gets better, if not I would take her to the vet to test for parasites? is the sick female still pooping like she should be? if not, when was her last?

I did seperate them for awhile, but that just stressed her out more. She started throwing up while they were seperated and stopped when I put them back.
