Not to sure!!!

I placed Oscar and jerris cage side by side, to see what reactions would be from either one, and they didnt seem bothered by each others presence, they just both stood looking at each other then carry on with normal stuff.

Jerri wasnt phased by Oscar at all.

So... I decided to get them both out to see how that went, not sure if it was the right thing to do, but it seemed to go really well, at first Oscar stood staring waving his tail like a cat, but then they just settled down and wanted to be into everything like 2 year olds.

Here's the initial meeting, with oscar waving his tail!!

Hey Donna, they should be fine - the tail wiggling is something they often do when they are chasing prey and he may have been doing it just to make his presence known and be the dominant one.

By their size and age I would say you could have a good guess at their sex by now - look at their underside at their vent area, males will have two hermipenal buldges and pores along the underside by the vent. Females don't have anything. I'll try get pics of our girls later, if someone could put up a pic of a boy? The pores on a male are very obvious. So try sexing them and if you have a pair or two girls you can put them together.. it is likely you have at least one girl as most people will incubate for female.

If you want to put them together go ahead - we had no problems with our three females. Just thoroughly clean out an enclosure and rearrange furniture so neither recognises the tank as theirs and in they go! If you do have problems you can always separate them again, but you should be fine.

Good luck, have a go at sexing and let us know what you think they are, or you could take pics of their undersides and post them for us to sex? Love the pics by the way, they truely are very pretty geckos.

Well Oscar is a real bossy boots, Ozzy went over to see them as he does, and Jerri doesn't seem to bother about anything, didn't bat an eyelash lol, but Oscar a different story, he climbed out of his hide and went to attack ozzy good job they both behind glass, Ozzy ran for his life bless him, although he still goes over to see them, think he is tormenting Oscar, he makes a b-line for his cage.

I definately think Oscar is male, no pores yet but he does seem to have the hemipenal bulge, and I am quite sure jerri is a Jerraldine lol, no bulges that I can see, although jerri is slightly younger.

I don't know about putting them together I would feel a bit mean on jerri as I don't want Oscar to bully him/her, although they would have their own hideouts, I might wait a bit longer and just do little introductions and leave their cages side by side, see how that goes.

I will try to get pics later when they get up of their under bits...

If they are male and female then Oscar may have wanted to mate with Jerri, not fight. Post pics when you can, would be interesting to see.

For now, if you do want to try them together just keep a close eye on them and if one seems to be being bullied or becomes withdrawn and problems occur separate them again. You can also keep introducing them out of the tanks, which is what we did several times before putting our three girls together, to see how they react to each other.
