hey all,

my first hatchling of last season was born about a month premature. i had severe doubts about her making it. she has a kink in her tail, and her back toes seem a little tiny bit deformed as well.

she has grown into a beautiful little gecko! she is the darkest thing I have ever seen...he was born with no yellow, but has some now but very little of it, and she is mostly black. i think she is just awesome, and one of the sweetest little things, too.

the strange thing is, i was checking her out today and I noticed that she has black scales on her belly. well, its like the centers of her scales are black. has anybody ever seen this before? um, cause I haven't. and she looks relatively freshly shed, too.
