Sleeping gecko????

the past week she has been sleeping all day long (except fo when I take her out).....I've had her for a month (she is like 4 months old) and have been feeding her crix...I started feeding her meal worms yesterday and she ate lots!! but today she only ate like 3.....is it bad to overfeed them?? I've read that it is fine to feed them as much as they want until they stop....i dunno I'm a bit confused. If someone can help out that would be great. Thank you

Leopard geckos are nocturnal. They sleep all day, this is normal.

You should try to not bother them too much during the day. Feed them at dusk or just afetr the sun goes down. This is the start of their active cycle and this will be more normal for them.

Your Leo may not have been as hungry as s/he was yesterday. As a baby they eat every day to keep up a rapid growth. As they become older they do not need to eat as much continually. You'll notice as she gets older there will be days like you described where s/he won't eat as much as the previous day. Eventually as an adult they will need to eat only every other day. And yes, you can feed him/her as much as s/he can eat. S/he'll stop when s/he's full.

Your Leo's habits are normal!
