Not looking Good!! gecko UPDATE!!

The vets have foned me this morning about the little Gecko and told me that she probably wont pull through, she got worse in the night and has no reflex, and can hardly move, we told the pet shop this and they asked if we had it housed properly as it was eating there, CAN you believe that, I am so angry, and also very upset, will keep you updated....

Sorry to hear that Donna, rest assured knowing you did the right thing and I'll say a prayer for the poor little guy.

Hello,
If the little guy is eating, he has a fighting chance. I wouldn't give up on him just yet. As the nutrients take effect, he will be able to regain strength. I wouldn't let out hope just yet. I will keep him in my thoughts as well.

Makes you want to chastise them severly about the head neck and shoulders!

Don't worry, this pet shop will be severely chastised!! I am going to report them to the proper authorities on behalf of Donna - please get the vet to give you confirmation of why the poor little one is ill, i.e. parasites or starvation, and have you got receipt of buying her from the shop? Will all help towards the case. Even if they were feeding her, and a parasite is the cause of her ill health, then they weren't getting her treated, which is still neglect. You only have to look at her to see they weren't taking care of her properly.

Don't worry Donna, you have done everything you can for her - you are a wonderful person. Don't listen to the shop - try not to have any more contact with them. Keep hoping, there is still chance she will pull through,. she is in all our thoughts. Keep us updated.

Donna surely you aren't letting that shop put this on YOU! You know better than that! And so do we! You went from your heart to try to do something good and you are doing the best you can with a bad situation. That shop most likely would have let that poor animal lie there and die! YOU are at least giving it a fighting chance.
You're an angel!
