how is the best way to ship a leopard gecko through the mail.........iv got two female juviniles and I want to sell on the internet......i was also wondering how I should price them shipping include..... theyre a jungle and a high yellow.

contact the basic carriers and ask them there policies on shipping live animals, you must also take into consideration the time of year now with low temps. As far as pricing, you might want to check with other breeders

To use FedEx, you need a written approval from the company. UPS just changed their policy where you do not have to be verified anymore (I think).
I pack mine in a 200# corrugated box, 12x12x81/2, line it on all sides with insulation styrofoam, use packing peanuts and 2 heat packs this time of year as long as it is above 40 degrees. I put the leo in a deli cup that has paper towels in it and it is sealed with tape.

As for price, I use FedEx, and wouldn't know UPS prices, but to give you an idea. One baby leo shipped overnight runs anywhere between $30-$35 plus the cost of the new box ($1), styrofoam (?), heat packs ($1-$2), peanuts (?) Most breeders will only charge a flat rate of anywhere from $30 to $40 for shipping.
