How many mealworms should I offer my Leo in one sitting?

Should I put a few in the morning and a few in the evening?

On average how many is about right per day?

I dont want to over or under feed her.

She is 4 months old and about 6", including tail.

It depends really. I give my about 10 every night. Some times they eat all of them some they don't. It will vary from day to day on how many they eat. Best thing to do is start with 5 if you see shes ate them all add more.

I just wanted to make sure I wasnt overfeeding her as it seemed alot - then thought well if shes eating them so fast maybe there isnt enough!

I don't believe they will over eat. She'll stop eating when she is full. It also depends on the size of mealworm. 3 small mealworms take up a lot less space than 3 large mealworms.

I give it as many as he will eat in a sitting. Normally 8 to 10.

I leave a dish of mealworms in with my leopard geckos at all times. (24/7) When the dish gets low, I add more to it. This allows them to eat as much as they want, when they want.

Good idea rich. How do you stop them from crawling out of the dish? I tried a taller dish, only to find out my gecko would not go near it.... Any suggestions?

Put 15 worms one day and see how many are left in the morning.. like 7
next day put 12 and the next day they are 5 left
this means she is eating 7-8 then you will have a good idea on how much she eats.

They have a special dish that prevents the worms from crawling out.
