thanks they aren't fed on the bark so they do'nt ingest any of it and I don't use that thing lol it's just kind of there, i use a temp gun but I just never got around to taking that thing out lol

I Use a temp gun myself too, However I also have One Digital Probe, and one digital Temp/humidity gauge in each enclosure, Its a good way to keep a close eye on any changes without having to go into the tank with a temp gun.

I agree. The temp gun is a great tool and I use it myself. But I also have digital thermometers on every single cage! It lets you know at a glance if conditions are right. By only using the temp gun once in a while to check things out you could easily have a malfunction that is overlooked.

honestly I use the temp gun everyday, like i'm always making sure everything right. especialy where the temps are always changing in my house because the weather has been wacky here lately, but I understanf where your both coming from.
