u can use a 1:50 bleach to water solution to clean with, i figure if you can get all the aglae off and clean with a bleach solution...you could use that fish tank to house herps...


p.s. and NO it NEVER ends, you will ALWAYS want more...lol

Thanks j, I'd heard a few people say it WAS possible, just didn't want to take any chances since I've been so careful with my fishtanks not to use any cleansers whatsoever..and I know my Leopard Geckos will lick everything at one time or another.. as for the p.s., I know what you mean, I'm already planning my next "adoption", just don't know where I'd fit it..my place is tiny and pretty much all real estate is in use..maybe on the shelf in the office...hmmmm..
