Yay, we arrived home from our camping weekend a day early due to the threat of bad weather and discovered our first clutch of babies has arrived! They are *so* cute! Just had to share my excitement and the first few pictures. I am trying to leave them alone so I'll get more pictures later.







I didn't expect them until next week as they were cooking at about 82 degrees and the eggs were laid 49 days ago. My son is like a beaming new Daddy. Hopefully we can find a pet store open tomorrow for tiny mealies, as we are totally out of them.....

Awwwwwwe! They're so tiny! Every time I see baby reptiles I feel like getting them just cause' they're so cute. The leopard geckos I've met are so friendly too! Congrats

They wont eat for a good week. Mine have never ate after hatching for that long. They absorb the yolk and it carries them. Others may chime in about this. That is just what I know from my experience.

Thanks for all of the replies and sharing the excitment! My husband thinks the one in the middle picture looks like a hand giving a less than friendly guesture . My son is calling the top one "stripe" (this from a boy with a Bearded Dragon named "spike", not known for his originality) and we have been calling the other one "flipper".

Thanks for in the tip on their feeding Mooglebass! They have done nothing but hang out in the moist hide since I put them into their little bin. Should they have both a dry and a moist hide? Thanks!
