You can put him in a tupperware container and then subract off the weight of it, this way he cant squirm or fall off.

Last night Bailey was in his rock hide almost all night long. He looks like he is about to shed. His head is now lighter than the rest of his body. He only ate 2 of the 4 crickets I put in his tank the other night.
If he is out and about tonight and feels like being sociable, I'll weigh him. I don't pick him up unless he shows an interest. |
