As for temp regulation, get a ceramic heat emitter and connect it to a thermostat. You can get them online or though pet stores. Then the heat will turn on and off automatically. Some of them have a night drop option, which with the set time, will drop in temp 10 or so degrees.

The calcium dish is just a shallow dish or lid that has pure calcium in it. Just fill the dish and leave it in the tank. The leo will use it as needed. (Don't use a multivitamin for this, just calcium.)
