Ebay is a good source for reasonable priced scopes, Mine is a binocular 10x oculars with a 1x - 2x zoom head, and 10x, 43x, 100x objectives. Although it has a mirror not a light, and it missing the frame that holds the slides for the mechanical stage, cost me ~$140.

Hint hint, If you know where I can get a light and/or the slide frame, maybe even some rubber eyecups for a bauch&lomb scope, I'm interested
