this is a female and some debat if its a SHTCTB its more orange then the pics really show (flash was too close and too bright and poor backlight. anyway I want to get a male to mate her with. what morph would you mate it with and why?

Bump. anybody in here breed geckos???

ok turns out I found the mate got him at a reptile expo here in florida this morning. anyway here he is and he will be mating with the one pictured above in the first post. He is a SHTCTB and she I believe is just a HTCTB. Babys should look good. He is a bit thin but I will fatten him up fast.

They will be really cool together I bet! I am a total novice with the morphs but have been trying to learn. As for breeders, I have 2 eggs cooking but that wasn't on purpose Have you bread in the past, or will this be new for you? Sounds like quite an undertaking, but could be fun. If I were looking for a serious hobby, and had some extra cash to spend, I could almost see myself trying it for at least one season. Good luck, I hope you can get them to produce for you ~ they are beauties!

this will be my first time breeding them. i am waiting a bit longer till they both fatten up and then I will introduce the male to her and hope for the best.

i believe Rich breeds or has bred leopard geckos before so he may be able to help.
