What Morph is This

Found it on the net. Someone is selling it locally and can't care for it anymore. $100.00 with cage and all accessories. Is it a hypo tangerine patternless carrot tail? HTCP? Can someone tell me the morph and the letter code. Also, I believe it's a male but they weren't sure on the phone so I won't know until I pick it up in about a hour. If it's a male, what would be a great morph to mate it with?

Re: What Morph is This

It's a hypo tangerine. Carrot isn't that much on it's tail.

Re: What Morph is This

Without a doubt it is a hypo. From that pic, it also appears to be abaldie. (No head spotting.) It may just be my screen, but its hard to tell the orange coloration. On my monitor, it appears really yellow opposed to darker orange. I concur that it isn't a carrottail though. (Everyone tosses carrottail on when there is some orange on the tail.)

Re: What Morph is This

here are some new pics. i believe its a she and not a he as they thought. my normal has a v on his belly and at the base of his tail he has 2 bumps. this one has no v at all and no bumps. anyway here are some pics. its deffinatly ready to shed in the next 2 days. it looks yellow to me now. she said it was a tangerine and she named it tango. lets see what all of you think. also if you are shure what morph it is from these pics then tell me what the full name of it would be. there is some more carrot color toward the end of the tail but with the shed you cant see it now.

Re: What Morph is This

I know next to nothing about morphs (trying to learn, though) but whatever she is she is beautiful!

Re: What Morph is This

ok shed is done here is a new pic. is it a SHTCTB??? or SHTB or just HTB. Also is this considered patternless? and last it is a female so I need a male to mate it with. should I get the same morp with more carrot tail to mate it with. or is there another morph I could mate it with to produce some rare babys? or something not so common. im looking to do this to make some money but im not expecting to make a bunch. I just dont want to produce babys that are worth virtually nothing in dollars.

Re: What Morph is This

The post shed pictures are much better. If I were to label that, after seeing these pictures, I would say it were a HCTB.

It isn't a super hypo because the tail has way to much spotting. I dropped the tangerine from the name because a true tangerine has an orange base replacing the typical yellow, which this leo appears to have. The tail coloration is much more visual in the new pics. The preshed pics seem to have been hiding the color some.

This is a juvenile Tangerine:

The flash actually washed out a lot of the orange on either side of the yellow line. The orange is much more intense than what I was able to capture. I could also toss on carrottail to this leo since the orange is at least 1/4 the tail, but I am not sure I will do that. lol
