Is This Normal?
Hey, i have to leopard geckos, one is a juvenile and the other a baby still they are housed seperatly but the vivs are identical. I was just wondering if it is normal for the baby leo to never come out during daylight hours as the older leo is always sticking his head out and walking around throughout the day and night. i was just wondering if the little feller doesn't come out as much because he is younger?

Re: Is This Normal?
It's pretty much normal and nothing to worry about they are nocturnal. When I was breeding leopard geckos I don't think I ever saw one of the hatchlings out in the day, the adults now and again but I can't think of one time I saw a hatchling just walking around when the lights were on.

Re: Is This Normal?
They will come out more, as they feel safer. The younger ones will most often just come out for the absolutes ( Food, water ) The older ones, feeling secure will probably put around for the fun of it.
