Well after a few weeks of wondering when my gravid leopard gecko was going to lay she finally did. Unfortunately she didn't lay in her moist hide and I didn't find the eggs until I got home from work at 9:30. I checked her before I went to work at 7:00 and she hadn't layed yet so I've got a 14 1/2 hour window. I noticed one egg is a little sunken so I doubt it will hatch. The other one looks good though. She is a first time breeder (so am I) and I've read that sometimes they don't produce fertile eggs well their first time. Would that be the whole season or just the first clutch? I'm really excited, I hope one of the eggs is good. I'm incubating at 85 in vermiculite with a hovabator. Oh, the eggs are stuck together but I really don't want to cut the bad one open. Is this a must?
I'll post some pics of the eggs in a week when I open the container for some air.
