Re: Shed Not Coming Off Toes!

yes she has a good appetiete lol...but she doesn't eat everyday...sometimes she goes acouple days without eatting and other times she wants food everyday. But I am sure that is noraml. She has grown ALOT from when I first had her as a little baby. she is so beautiful! I just wonder if I am overfeeding her? I figured she wouldn't eat if she wasn't hungry...and she does stop when full...he veries all the time with her food intake so it is hard to say exaxtly how much she eats...but yesterday she only ate about 5 crickets. It is possible she could use more exercise...I do get ehr out often,,,unless she has a full belly cause I don't want to upset her tumm...plus she likes to lay on the Under Tank Heater after eating. I let her run on the bed and she climbs around all night I hear her trying to climb the vine in her tank and the piece of wood in there...she is very active. I am sure a bigger tank will help her exercise too. I really hope I can get her one soon. There is work to be done with then living arrangements first.

oh but she lover she new hide...so much room...it is too big for the tank..but she likes it so hopefully she will be upgraded soon. I think I will have to wait for things to settle here...I am on thin ice with the animals I have and it isn't much room right now. When we get thing figured out (living situation) then it will be on! mwahahaha! =)

so what do you think? overweight? or healthy chubby? It would be nice if I had a scale to weigh her. Is this the normal size Leopard Geckos get? dave (my fiance) says she is getting bigger still so I don't know...or at lease since she came to his house.>>which I still have some things to bring over sigh if that ever happnes.< it is too much sometimes thats all. I hope one day things will be better...where I can do whatever I want =)haha!

Re: Shed Not Coming Off Toes!

Wow!! She is so gorgeous!! And BIG!! I would say Healthy Big, though!! I always wonder how big my girl would have gotten if I had her for her whole life....she was very underfed for the first 4 years of her life before I got her...but even so, she has a nice fat tail. She just looks more petite than a lot of the leo's I see pictures of on here. Anyone know a 'normal' or 'average' weight for female leo's? Matilda weighs 59g. I would guess that your girl weights 69g at least!

Re: Shed Not Coming Off Toes!

My girls weigh in the 65-75g range, and they're pretty average I think. I use my kitchen scale to weigh them. Handy for portion control and gecko monitoring!

Thanks ALL...ya know I think I may look into getting a kitchen scale =) I am really curious to her weight. I do think she is very healthy...and looks happy to me. I just want to make sure I am doing things right and giving her the best I can.
