When you start a new thread or hit reply in an existing thread, there is a location under the text box that allows you to upload images. It is called "manage attachments".
Use that to upload pictures directly from your computer. Pictures do have a size allotment, so if they are too big, they won't upload.
You can also use another website and link your pictures. A place like photobucket.com allows you to upload pictures onto their server and then link to them. To link in this manner, click the little yellow box above the text box. Type or cut and paste the URL of the image and it will then be placed in your post.
