Hi I'm only 10 my mom said I can get a leopard gecko.And I'm tring to learn about them. I was wondering if u could tell me about the crickets,is it ok to put the crickets in the tank with a carrot.Wont that feed the crickets and the gecko at the same time?

Leopard geckos are a great starter lizard!

You should never just leave crickets in with the gecko. Crickets will bite the gecko and the bites may become infected.
Besides them bothering the lizard so that it cannot sleep.
Many feed the gecko in another container to eliminate this possibilty.

I would buy yourself a small container to keep the crickets in and place the carrot in there. They require their own space so they can eat and stay healthy. It's much better for your gecko.
