Hey all, I finally managed to get rid of all the calci sand and replaced it with paper towels. I realised how bad the calci sand was when I was scooping it out, every time I scooped, dusty white smoke kept coming up, I was coughing when I breathed it in. I'm so glad I got her out of that. Yubaba looks a lot more happier as she is wondering around the vivarium and checking out her nice, clean home It's also more easier to clean up when she goes to the toilet. On that note, I looked at what she passed and I could see some sort of grey mushy stuff along with her urate and some faeces. Is this anything to worry about?

sounds like she is busy getting the rest of the impaction out. Glad you got rid of the sand. I have no idea why anyone suggests it.
