Re: Hey Guess What

No but it answers all of the basic leopard gecko specific questions that anyone should research themselves before getting a leopard gecko.
The link is fixed, and if you had read it the first time you would know that particulate substrates are not safe.

I posted the care sheet again in response to your question on walnut substrate, not about reptile carpet.

More on walnut:

More on repti-carpet, which as far as I know is the same as turtle turf:
Repti Carpet

More on leopard gecko substrates:

Re: Hey Guess What

Hey congrats on the new leopard geco.
But Moshpitrockchick is right you need to do some research before getting the animal otherwise you will stress yourself and the little guy out
Good luck and post some pics when you get the little guy.

Re: Hey Guess What

Just buy some tile or astro turf.

Trust me it's not worth the hassle of trying to use sand or woodchips or anything like that.

Sure it might look cool, but it can seriously harm your little guy.

Buy some desert looking tile, buy a heating pad for under the tank, and a basking lamp for him. Leave one side of the tank cool, so he can leave the hot side if he wants.

Good luck.
