Paige, I've been having the opposite situation - my two Leopard Geckos have been spending significantly less time in their moist hide. I've attributed it to weather, because it just changed here to significantly and consistently cooler (Indiana). There temp has remained consistent, but maybe they can just sense the room's ambient difference? Plus the heater changes the humidity in the house. I think it dries the air, but we have a humidifier that supposedly gatorades it (replaces what was lost) - although I'm not sure what the net result of that is.

One of my guys seems a little more lethargic, but with no other symptoms. So, I'm watching him. Pretty soon they'll both be with mooglebass for a while, because I'm leaving town for a few weeks. I wonder how they'll respond to that change? I'm sure moogle will do a great job with them, but it's a change nonetheless.

Well, keep us posted on Sunshine. I'm curious about how it goes. What State are you in?

sigh! caution I have lots of POed venting to do!

I moved her to the new place..and I first had her in my room, but then decided to move her downstairs because the cords reached better ther for the lights..after all that stressed out work..and poor Sunshine she was fine until I moved her again. I have pics.

Here is the BAD NEWS:

I am so ****ed! I was TOLD by (shared house for the while long story) that she CAN"T be there cause HE GOT A NEW GUN SAFE TO PUT THERE! I am freaking out cause for one I wanted to put by large tanks there and the table was going to be moved over a bit to the other side of the room. However now I have no room for any of them really! so this horrible kick in my *ss is killing me.

1: we are going to buy the house and be paying EVERYTHING soon..problem if I can't have my THINGS and TANKS HERE ya think!

2: they should be moving to the INLAWS the my fiance built for his grandfather...eventually when that time comes..I am not hurrying or anything, but I would really like my things here where I live..instead I have to run across the streat to take care of my babes and hardly get to see them... like I want cause they are not here. it is such a huge pain, but no one cares about this. Do you think all this crap of their will fit there, nope..so what is it staying here? I have a problem and I don't know how to handle this.

3: it is bad enough there isn't a kitchen over there and I was already told that they don't like the new washer/dryer..so hint they will be over OFTEN.

4: It isn't that I hate them, but enough is enough! I clean and am treated like a maid and called her maid to her friends ( seriously!)

5: Dave already pays lots so they can pay bills and things that they can't afford which is why we will be ehre forever! I mean we are trying to help them out..they can't keep the house without us...so my problem is making me nausious...I feel like I am going to puke.

there is so much more I can't even begin to tell you all what I go through it is not right. I have put up with it..cause they are my fiance's parents and I live here..but what am I to do? I feel a lump in my throat as I type this. I can't take it.

so I am not sure if I have to take Sunshine back or just try to get her in our room until this is solved. I need a HOT SHOWER! I am posting pics and going..sorry for venting, but I feel like I am never going to have anything of my own ever over here..and it is never going to be my house..we will be paying and taking care of the house..but with no benefit whatso ever. sorry for complaining..I try not to. I

am just sooo bummed.

welp, I have talked to my fiance and he isn't too happy either...if we buy the house we aren't going to put up with this...I can't bring my stuff over ya know. We ill have to have a good talk with them I guess and see what we all are thinking is going to happen.

If we work things out then we are going to heat the addition oom for my tanks!! I will love this and it will be better then downstairs! so I am hoping for the best.

Anyway, Sunshine is up in our room for now I guess she will stay there until things get decided. So she liked it up there I think...she kept looking out at us and I can hold her in the evenings when she is awake =) I am liking that. She made some croaking tyoe noises though last nigh and she is a very crazy climber! I new she climbed, but I saw how she really gets up on the vine and climbs on the temp guages! I hope she doesn't get hurt! I guess she knows what she is doing.

I'll get more pics soon..but wish me luck with the whole living situation...I AM GOINNG TO NEED IT!

Sounds like a huge headache! At least you finally got Sunshine with you.

thanks so much guys and gals! You all (may sound crazy) are great friends..I don't have any close friends here..I don't get out much actually. I know it sill be awile before I get that room heated..so first things first. I hope soon. dave said it won't be so hard to runs wires and insulate the floors..so we will see if and when it gets done.

Sunshine is doing great and hasn't hide once since she is here with me now. It is fun to have her here. I really get to enjoy her more ya know. I hope I can get this little project going. I am not sure for the countdown cause it will be awile I am sure that they will be here and not moved over..so I will have to be patient. i guess cutting payments down by 15 years is worth the wait. I mean that is alot! sooo for my future I will have to hang in there..I don't see any problems as long as I can do what I want and have as many critters ad I possibly can fit in MY HOUSE lmao! I am insanely in love with my critters and furry babies!

I just need alittle luck. but I have my two large tanks and my newt to get over here now =)
