temp range ?
Since the geckos already have a temperature range in their cage due to the heat pad on one end only, plus various levels of stuff to be on, do they also need contrived temp changes between day and night? For instance, do they need a heat lamp during the day so that the entire range of temperatures they can exploit throughout the enlcosure is approx. 10 degree than it would be at night, OR is it adequate to have no extra heat in the day, but just let them move around the enclosure to find their comfortable temp no matter what time of day/night it is?
I hope this makes sense. Sometimes I think I sound nuts by obsessing on these details. I think human babies are easier to care for than these little guys, probably because we can better relate to the needs of our own species. Anyway, thanks for your input. I hope I'm not asking too many questions on here. I'm still learning, & learning, & learning, ad infinitum. Jennifer
