I have been considering getting my first Gecko sometime time soon..I just don't know which kind I would like to get either a leopard or a House I was thinking. I don't know to much about Geckos so if anyone could point in the direction of a good care book or a helpful website that would be awesome.
I thought I heard that recommended tank size was 10 gal.? is this true or not if I am looking at just getting one? Since I do not have an extra 10 gal. tank around my house it would probably be a while until I even consider getting one so all of this info is being used of for future reference. Probably since I am getting quite a few new pets this year..I will wait about 5 or 6 months so I can make sure I can make room for it and have all the supplies I need. But anyway yeah if anyone can give me advise I would be most great full.

You will find the most information about the leopard geckos as they are alot more common, but as for a 10g tank it will work best for a youngin' but as they grow a 20g long tank would be far better.

I agree with Lace. Leopard Geckos are very easy to care for and somewhat more easily to handle than a house gecko.

Thank you all for info..probably not going to be looking int getting one for a little while now..but at least I have a good resource for when I do and I promise to post up pics when I get him home. Little leopard Geckos have the most adorable faces.
