Update with pics!~
Hello, it's been a few weeks since I've been on here, but I finally have some free time! Zeppelin has adjusted wonderfully to being on paper towels as opposed to sand. Also, after the first couple of days, she began having a much healthier appetite. I was worried because she was so small and not growing much. I changed her substrate, and began giving her calcium enriched crickets, and she is a whole new gecko!
The previous owner came to my house and said she can tell Zeppy is much happier. She said the whole time she had her (close to four years), she barely came out of the hide rock. Now, after a healthy vet visit, and a much better living environment, she has really come along. It makes my heart warm to know that I basically saved her life. Had she continued to reside in so much sand and being underfed, she never would have made it.
