Hi.

i waswondering how long should I wait untill I am able to handle my gecko. I handled im a ittle at the pet store yesterday but thats it he seemed ok with it too. Also I just fed him to day (5 crix) and he seemed to have trouble catching them. he did manage to eat 1 though.

My tangerine baldi morph is named Scorch

you should wait for about 5 or 6 days so he can adjust to his home. not letting him settle in can stress him out more and then he may not want to eat. he may be a little nervous in his new home because to him you might be a predator. good luck with him

I let my leo have about a week to adjust and then I gradually started handling her. Now as soon as I put my hand in the tank she usually comes over and climbs on. She also seems to know the difference if it is me or my daughter that is trying to pick her up. She prefers me ;-)
