New, Rescued "Eublepharis macularius"
I just got my rescue Eublepharis macularius today! I took him in from a girl that was living in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada which is about 150km north of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She couldn't keep him any more because she was having an increasingly more difficult time getting crickets for feeding. I'm glad I did rescue him because his cage was in a deplorable state of cleanliness. In hindsight, I should have posted a pic of it but was kind of in a rush to clean it out. He's in a 10-gallon tank with a Under Tank Heater (under tank heater), a hide, a little log that he likes to walk all over, a water dish, a Ca2+ dish, some sphagnum moss, and a paper towel "substrate" for now (at least until I find something more visually appealing).

I will post some pics later tonight. Sorry for the wait, but I've got to go to work.

Looks skrawny, like you said Mike. I suggest steroids, a personal trainer and perhaps a trophy wife to help boost ego and muscle.

Re: New, Rescued "Eublepharis macularius"
Hmm, I guess the "Click on image to enlarge" doesn't do much does it. I may have just put them in the post the wrong way (how do you put full pics in a post anyways?).

Re: New, Rescued "Eublepharis macularius"
Haha, I'll get right on those recommendations Steve, but for now butterworms and crickets will suffice.

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket then upload after making an account. Then, you go the the IMG tag thing on the bottom (it's obvious) and just paste it cause it autocopies.
I'll show ye next time I see ye.

Re: New, Rescued "Eublepharis macularius"
Hello,
I corrected the image issue. You had the images inserted as thumbnails. The site is programmed to reduce an images size and make it clickable to the original file. The "Click to Enlarge" is appended to all images that get placed in posts.
Link looks like he has started using his tail reserves to compensate for the lack of insects the previous owner was offering. If his stool is solid, and he eats without an issue, a few weeks of regular food intake will plump it right back up. He isn't dangerously thin in the tail by any means, but it could use some meat.
