he wanted to know if I was going to bring Ducky's tank over to his house or would I like to have her go in with his two female leo's. Is this a good idea? He has had his leo's for sometime and they are healthy. They also have a very large tank they are in. But Ducky is used to having her own space. I told him that I would bring her tank. Do you think it would be okay if she went into his leo's enclosure or do you think I should bring her tank like I planned?

I would bring her tank. I think putting her in a new tank with new Leopard Geckos and someone else feeding her may stress her out and she won't eat.

I was planning on taking it and I told him I was, so it is no big deal. I was just curious if she would like the company of another leo for the week.

Lately she really seems to like when I am near her tank. If I put my hand in there for any reason she is jumping right on it. If I am near her tank she looks up like she is waiting for me to take her out. I know they are normally solitary creatures but you never know if they like a little interaction occasionally.

I find them to really only benefit from another Leo's "company" when putting a male and female together to breed
I think at best-they tolerate another Leo in the same tank so I would agree with you keeping her in her own tank

You may find that simply moving the tank to another location may be enough to stress her out or she may continue to eat as if nothing has changed

It's hard to second guess these guys

However if she does go on a hunger strike -tell your "Leo Sitter" that as long as she has a nice fat tail-she will be fine for up to a couple of weeks with just fresh water

Have a nice vacation

She is nice and fat right now. She at huge amount of mealworms last night. I will feed tonight and maybe try again before I move her tomorrow. That way if she gets stressed about the move at least she will have a nice full belly when she goes. PLus I am only going away Sunday through Friday. I will pick her up Friday night.
