12 Good Reasons.

OK, you guys have until Friday night to convince me on why I should join the ranks of Leo slavery. I have been reading up and have an empty 20 gal long (I know an empty tank at my house). All I need is a little 12 step help!!

Step 1. Because I don't have any yet!!

The point is, you have so many different herps and don't own Leopard Geckos! How dare you! They are easy to maintain, live up to 2- years, some times more depending on how you take care of it, very pretty, don't require a large tank, usually always tame, Don't require much food per week, have so many different and valuable morphs ranging from 20 dollars to a thousand, and they are very hardy. Right now I am playing halo 2 so I have to get off right now. If I tink of more and no one else posts my idea I will convince you with more and more!

The thing is I don't usually buy herps for myself, almost all my friends are rescues.

Hello,
I will give this a stab.

1. They are a hardy species.
2. They are captive bred.
3 They are docile.
4. They don't require expensive UV lighting.
5. They are interesting to watch.
6. If the thought crosses your mind, they are easily bred.
7. They don't smell.
8. They "normally" defecate in the same location in the tank, so daily cleanings are quick and simple.
9. They are quite.
10. You would enjoy adding another reptile to your menagerie.
11. There is an abundance of information available on their husbandry.
12. You wouldn't feel "left out" when the discussions regarding leopard geckos are floating around.
13. You would have a new reptile to photograph and display.
14. etc........

Now that I have given you a few reasons to join Leopard Gecko ownerships, give me 12 reasons in regards to why you shouldn't!

Editorial comment:
They are NOT always quiet, or docile, and they enjoy being difficult to photograph that's still 9 reasons though and "Because Duke said so" just makes up for the three above Oh Duke smells like something if you get him very close to your face, it's not a bad smell though.

Hmm, well I can think of soooo many but I'm still laughing hard at MJ
Hey, to join her, I can think of 61 reasons why you should get a gecko...
1) Because I said so!
2) Because Joe said so..
3-28) Because the 26 snakes say so!
29-39) Because the 10 lizards (+babies!! lol) said so!
40-48) Because the tarantulas say so...
I could go on... Hehe but anyway, it's Friday night... so... where are the pics????

*Edit: Moldy.. did you mis-type? 2- years???
