Another Dilema

Autumn is still being stubborn about eating. I cant seperate them again cuz I dont have the tank free anymore due to getting my cricket shipment in. I just dont know what to do Pebbles is gettin bigger and bigger while it seems like autumn isnt gettin much bigger at all.

I need your honest opnion on this issue, should I go n see if they have a gecko of more similar size to pebbles and return autumn or what. I only have till thursday to make a decision and the geckos are only on sale till next monday.

I sorta have the same problem, though mine are sisters, one had it's tail broken off as a baby in the petstore. I bought her after my first. The one witho the broken tail is a great eater and alot bigger. When feeding time rolls around I take the big one out to hold and let the littler one feed to her hearts content. When she's done I re-introduce "fatty" and let her eat.......no problems !!!!!

How often do u feed them? I came up with an idea though. Do what you said u do but ill also hold off a few days on the next feeding wait till all the crix in the tank are gone and then wait nother day or 2. I really dont want to get rid of her she is so pretty. Thanks for the suggestion kenman I appreciate it.

If I am reading this right do you leave crickets in the enclosure with your geckos after feeding time? Once 'feeding time' is over the remaining crickets should be removed. Crickets are annoying little things, imagine sharing a handfull of gallons with them they can cause stresses even bite your geckos leading to infection.

Have you ever heard of a rubbermaid? Or a sterilite? These are quite big boxes and the 10 gallons sell for about 5 dollars. originaly for clothes, but with enough air holes and space, you can easily house your leo seperately. You can make paper towel roll/tp rolls for hides, a big container for the humid hide, and have papertowels as a substrate. Yoou can also put the Under Tank Heater under the rubbermaid or steriite. Usually you can find these in malls, large variety stores like fredmeyers, kmart, ect... They even have see through ones.

I don't leave the crickets in the tank for more than 5 minutes actually. I prefer to injure it a tad bit and drop it in front of the geckos face. Probably 3 inches away from they're face actualy.

Ok, many breeders use them. I don't know about you. If I really liked this herp I would just get a 10 gallon from a petshop. They usually are only 12-15 dollars. Heck if I hated the herp I would do it... Signs are showing that you are not moved out in to your own house or apartment. Maybey your parents could help out. Still, if you really like this herp and want to keep him, just buy a temporary bin for him. I mean you can see him with the seethroughs, he can breathe, he's being heated well, and it's a perfect home!

ill get one next month if I need too. I have a couple of ideas first to try.

1) decrease how often feeding from every day to every 2 or 3 days
2) take out pebbles (larger one) for a while after putting the crix in
