My first hatchling was put down. He was blind. But here are two more. They are clutch mates. Shorty is the first one. I had to help him out of his egg and had to get mumble out before I could help shorty. He was running around every where.

:D I'm smiling because I have no idea whats going on!

She couldn't see anything. She ran into the walls of the tank. And her hide box. I took her to my friend who is a reptile specialist and he said hes never seen anything like that. But she wouldn't eat anything even if we put it in her mouth. And could see anything more infront of her face. Her eyes were fused shut.

oh they're so cute! but i'm sorry about the one that had to be put down, that sounds awful.

I cried for 2 days and she was only a little over a week old. We decided to do it after she started getting really weak from not eating. And it almost made me give up on breeding. But then these two beautys where born. And I fell in love with these guys.

I'm so sorry to read about your poor blind little one
I hope that these 2 beauties make you feel a bit better
It's hard dealing with any abnormalities in any animals especially if they prove to be fatal in the long run
