glad to hear you are taking them to the vet. Even if there are no parasites, then at least you have a piece of mind.

BTW, I like how you solved your seperating issue. Very clever.

i think they are definatly ill, i just watched vinegar go to the toilet and it looked wet with no solid with a few white bits in. could tell its wet cause I have paper towel down now. argghhh hope they wont die

If I read this correctly-you had your heat mat against the wall of the tank that they were in
If the heat mat now underneath the bottom of the tank so that they can get belly heat?
Also-temps over the heat mat should be around 88-90 degrees F-sorry not sure what that it is in C

If its hot enough to start the paper on fire you will have already cooked your geckos. I have heat pads under my sterlites and paper in the bottom.

been to the vets today

what a struggle this women had to keep pepper pinned whilst she injected her with antibiotics. she gotta go for another shot on friday.
meanwhile stool samples have been sent off to be looked at.
very costly

Hello,

Sorry to hear of the costs. Unfortunantly, its an expense everyone should always be ready for. The antibiotics should help dramatically. Keep us posted on what you find out as a result of the fecals.

all costs are associated with having pets. I just spent $60 on an appointment and meds for my cat, with another $60 coming next week for vaccination and another checkup.

Its all part of pet ownership.
