Feeding time!
I have just been wondering how other leopard gecko breeders feed their leo's. How often and what protion of food items? Also has anyone ever feed their leo super meal worms, you know the big ones because my normal leo loves them but are they good for her.
So thats my question how do you feed your Leopard Geckos so that they are nice and plump and ready to breed! |

I fed mine supers and crickets, whichever they were hungry for that day. I offered food daily, if they ate great, if not, I offered again the next day. They ate until they were full or however much they could in in 5-10 min.

I keep a full bowl of mealies in my Leopard Geckos cage at all times....and I give crix 2 or 3 times a week...but their staple is mealies....once in a while they will have waxies as a snack or supers...depends on what I have at any given time...

I feed mine mealies and crickets. Since she is still a juvenile I used the small crickets and smaller/regular size mealies. I also offer waxworms as a treat. I will give her like two every few days. Right after I introduced her to mealies she wouldn't touch the crickets. But I just reintroduced crickets and she likes them again. I offer food daily and she usually eats something. Some nights she totally pigs out and other nights she may only eat a few crickets. I tried offering mealies in a bowl, she won't touch them.

I like the idea of keeping mealies in the tank all the time, but one problem is my Fat tails don't touch the mealies or the super worms in general I guess they just don't relieze it's food. I'll slowly add in the meal worms to their diet.

I feed my Leopard Geckos mealworms mainly. My male eats only supers ( he is huge) because he won't touch anything else. Everyonce and a while they get waxworms or silkworms. I would like to try them on hornworms if I could ever find any.
