leo behavior question =)

HI!

So Sunshine has been swishing her tail at her reflecion? I thought males do this to other males..so could she be a he? I thought a she but the last time I actullay checked and posted a pic she was small still. I will try to get a pic now or soon. BUT till then what do you all think?

She does the fast wiggle after her food =) but this is a slow sway of the tail and she is obviously starring at the reflection in the glass. She has been trying to climb the glass too? She started this acouple weeks ago, but I am starting to think she is a he and looking at her reflection as a threat?

and if so then why start this all of a sudden. I have never noticed it before maybe?

I have females that do this and it's very funny when they see their reflection like that, they are basically letting that other gecko in the reflection know back off!! lol It reminds me of my cats tails when they are mad.

My females do this also. Not as much now that they are adults. It is quite comical.

Too funny. Mine does this all of the time! We always say she is so vane, because she loves to look at her reflection in the glass. She also swishes her tail slowly sometimes when she is looking at the glass.

Cleo swishes her tail and then starts licking the glass...but she's a little nutty...

ok, it is good to know she isn't as strange as I thought lol. I was worried that she was a he though ha ha. I was thinking about getting another one in with her, but now I am afraid she wouldn't get along with another one...especially if she was a HE...even so I guess she doesn't mind being alone =)

The climbing the glass is a common thing with my Leopard Geckos and fat tailed geckos, the swishing only happens once in a while and is very amusing.

Aww I've never seen Skittle do that she does wave her tail around sometimes when she sees something out of the tank. She really wants to eat my cat I think. She really does remind me of a kitten espcially when shes in shed and rubbing up against everything.
