As for the feedings. Since she is young I have fed her both nights since I have gotten her. Is there a certain number of crickets that I should give her. Will she only eat until she is full. I know some animals eat as long as there is food there, I wasn't sure if this is the way reptiles are. I don't want to over feed her but I certainly want to make sure she is getting enough. Since we brought her home Tuesday night she has eaten about 8 small/medium sized crickets. I have just been putting one or two in the tank at a time and then if she eats them quickly I added another.

Am I doing this right?

Some say the rule of thumb is as many as they will eat in 10 minutes. With the meal worms we just leave a bowl in the enclosure.

What do you use to keep the meal worms in the bowl? I tried them and they keep getting out.

I know most people put a carrot inside the bowl to keep them in.

I bought a mealworm bowl from petdiscounters.com They are not suppose to crawl out of it. Not sure if it works. It was 91 cents, but only worth it if you are ordering something else because of shipping.

I will have to check out PetCo tonight when I go to see if they have a mealworm bowl.
