If you plan on using that to dust the inverts, it is fine. Don't buy the one with phosphorous for leopard geckos.

With or without D3? S/he is eating what is in the bowl. I was just not sure if it is the right type because of the D3.

I couldn't find the calcium without the D3 at any of the pet stores in my area. Most of them had never heard of it. So I ordered it from Fluker's this morning.

You can go into any drug store or health food store and purchase pure calcium carbonate for humans. Its fine.

You have me very confused now. Why do you have three different things? I have so far cricket dust with vitamins (we got this for the anole). Now we have Flukers with D3. Do I need one without the D3? The two petstores I went to have all the same stuff.

Kelly I also can't find this stuff locally. Not to mention "local" is at least 30 miles one way.

No. You should have a dish of pure calcium (calcium carbonate) in the enclosure so that they can take it whenever they want.

You just need a multivitamins (that can have calcium or not) to dust the crickets. Whatever brand you have or buy the thing you have to take into consideration is the lack of phosphorous, it must not have any phosphorous! If it has D3 or not is not important. Many people advise the ones with D3 for nocturnal reptiles but there isn't any proof that they work.

Sorry I didn't mean to confuse you, that's just my routine

I didn't think Flukers made a pure calcium witho D3? All the ones I've seen have it, whats the kind you bought?

I use the rep-cal pure calcium for their dishes, and mealworm bowls.
