Hey, Autumn has a little orange too! Pebbles kinda has a faded orange spread over a larger area, and Autumn's orange is brighter, but concentrated into one thin band at the base of her tail. Neato

Can't wait to see what they look like with their grown-up coloration, although they are very cute right now How long till they lose the baby pattern anyway? I've never really dealt with juvie herps as much as grown-ups.
lol, and sorry for all the "grown-up" ****. These computers even edit out the word . Since when is a bad word?

hi,
pebbles is definitely a leucistic. it is synonomous with patternless. they are not highly valued. as far as she being a carrottail, i don't really know...she does have a lot of color on her tail! she is so cute!
autumn is really pretty, but she is not a carrottail. to be considered a true carrottail, i think that close to half of the tail has to be orange. hers is just on the base there. the orange might mean that she is het for tangerine, though. she is really dark.
she will not lose her juvenile pattern until she is a lot bigger...and then it will only be more yellow while the black will become more spotted. many still keep the bands. i have one that is several years old and she has very few spots/very dark bands. i do regret to inform you that autumn will not develop a jungle pattern. she is a normal, but a very beautiful one.
congratulations!
lola

Also when they grow up they may form the carrot tail. That is what mine are doing. So you may get lucky.

Yes, I've seen geckos hiss before - you may have startled or disturbed her. They will get used to you in time.
Found this gecko on another forum, where the owner was unsure of its morph.. look similar to yours?? It is a patternless,. looks very near to me. Perhaps yours is a patternless x ct?? .. i'm not very up on my leo genetics..
