Dwarf Leopard Gecko

This is what I believe to be the only true Dwarf Leopard Gecko in the world. She was hatched out by us in 2004, and is now almost two and a half years old. Thought I would share her with everybody, instead of just keeping her to myself. The first thing I noticed when I saw her in the incubator was that she only had one band, instead of two. I thought that was pretty neat in itself, then I notice her small size. I wish I would have taken more pics of her as she was growing, but here are some that I do have.

Having a little trouble posting pics, so I guess you can go to my web page to see her.

Hello,

Have you had any genetic testing done on her? Have you bred her to see if this is an inheritated trait? I ask because you list her as a "New Morph" on your website. In order for her to be a new morph, you need to be able to reproduce it.

That leo could just simply be an under-developed Leopard Gecko.

New or not that is one gorgeous leo. Congrats!

She's lovely. It looks like her smaller size is all in her "torso" -- her head and tail appear close to normal in size. Or is this just an artifact of the photos? It's curious...

i am amazed it has lived for so long

but as rich has pointed out...you need to reproduce this trait to make it call it a morph. No offence but I feel the gecko is just a "special" one. No matter tho, still a nice little gecko. Looked awesome as a hatchling! As amy said looks like it is all in the torso...will she be able to produce eggs without causing damage??? i don't know or think so. Would loved to be proved wrong...would be awesome! Good Luck
