he came out at the right moment =) I sprayed the towel good..he wa rubbing his face all over his things it was funny. He was licking the skin trying to get it off. His toes are all there =) I can't reaaly see any signs of sheding on his body just his head. He ate 3 mealworms and a cricket while he was out...I didn't expect him to be hungry...but he didn't eat since last night so...I don't know. He went back in the hide so that is good. =) I left acouple worms in his dish, but I need a different dish...it is a clear glass one and he tries to go after them on the side and bangs in the glass. Also it is slippery (I noticed today) so I guess that is something else to look for.

Yeah I was forever trying to find a dish that they couldn't climb out of...I eventually got one of the feeder dishes at the pet shop that has a cover with a hole on it.

the reason you cant see any shed on him is he ate it. MMMMM skin, lol. i use glass ash trays for them and they banged it alot, then got smart and when over the top. Paint the bottom of the dish black so he cant see them.

I could paint it..but will the paint hurt him? I think I might just get another dish or wait till he figures out he can't go through glass =) He is soo cute =) I'll have pics tomorrw if he has finished shedding or not. He look so funny with his face all peeling and him rubbing his head all around =) he went back in before I could get the camera I was focused on qwetting the hide, feeding him and checking his digits to make sure he was ok LOL Actually I think he has more red at the base of his tail...but it could be my imagination. I really didn't notice it as much when I got him...I will try to get a good pic of it.

Yes the paint could hurt him but there are kinds that are nontoxic but I have a feeling it would to easily peal off. Even a peanut butter cover or something should do

You paint then clear coat over it. Or you could always get some silicone, some fish tnak rocks and glue them on around it and make it a little more than just blah. give it a rock texture.

Using a jar cover doesn't usually work because the mealies can climb up the threads on the inside of the cap, i know from experience, haha!

yeah haha I was thinking of that 2 but it's better then nothing...there's usually a couple dumb ones in the batch. They even make it out of the closed in feeder rock sometimes (I have NO idea how)
