This is what our member has to say: he's only 5 months old so I didn't think he'd be to the stage where he'd only eat every second day ...

Its probably the weather, my Leopard Geckos did that last year, and freaked me out, but ate meal worms when I gave them, after winter they were given crickets and ate them. I think its just the same ole same and the weather.

they weren't jumping...he didn't even chase them...he saw one...and looked at it...and walked towards it...then walked away...the cricket kinda was just taking its time wondering where the **** it was after it was puffed with white stuff and droped into this thing with a monster staring at it

Silkies aren't easy to come by -- I have only found them by mail -- but maybe Skittles would like those? Otherwise, I would think that with time, his appetite will come back when he's ready. He's such a cutie!

From my experince, it's hard to go by age on growth some grow fast others slow. Leopard Geckos seem to eat a ton in their first 4 months and then slow down. It would be best to get a weight on your leo and see if he's reach close to adult weight. my females slowed down to every 2-3days when they reached about 40 grams and about 6 months.

Hello,

Leopard geckos eat when they are hungry so long as they are healthy. if the temps are accurate, defecation is normal, and the tail is plump, you have nothing to worry about. Some of my Leopard Geckos eat daily and other skip days. Some skip several days in a row as suggested too. I just leave their dish of mealies in the enclosure at all times and they can eat those whenever they like.

The offering of different feeders will also help induce feeding. Seeing as I leave the mealies in at all times, they get pretty tired of them. Those that don't normally eat daily will pounce when I toss in superworms, waxies, butter worms, or crickets.
