Everything is final with me getting my new leo. Now all I have to do is set up a home for him. I used to have my other leo in a 10 gallon, but I found a 20 long on the side of the street for free in May (I live in a college town...people give a lot away in May) so now I have twice the amount of space for the little guy.
I am just wondering about the subtrate to use. I used to buy repti carpet, which would be fine, but I'm thinking about trying tile or something like that. I know that some people here use it, but when I went to Home Depot, they had pieces that were 4"x4" or 12"x12", and the tank is something like 11.5"x29"(I think...I just remember it was odd sizing). Do people usually cut the tile? Is that really hard to do?
Thanks in advance!

I use non adhesive shelf liner, its the thicker kind (makes them feel like they are on plush carpet ) . Its easy to clean and you can get different colors and patters.

They usually cut them and there's a tool you can get at home depot to do it
