| This is what our member has to say: Leave things to her and she loses it! ARGH!
Anyways, the baby kingsnake which is maybe half inch in diameter is missing. About 50 places ... |

Anyways, the baby kingsnake which is maybe half inch in diameter is missing. About 50 places for it to get into the wall or get out of the apartment IF it left the room, which I tore apart looking. Two cats are on the prowel, I bet someone finds it but it's a race.
What's the best way to lure it out?

Turn the temp in your house down to 60 and put a heat lamp out in the middle of the room and maybe a pinky mouse...good luck finding him

and while you are at it double check the cage and make sure it is escape proof for after you find him. also be sure to check in and under everything in the cage, some herps are great at hiding in plain sight.

yeah except I'd put the heat lamp or heated thing next to the wall considering joe huged all the walls when he escaped. There was a good idea posted somewhere about putting a mouse in a container that's wide enough to get in but not wide enough to get out as in something thats shaped like this > that opens but once your in you can't get back out

When my cornsnake got lost a while back we ended up finding her under one of my daughter's large stuffed animals. She passed up the heaters in the house and everything. It was three days before we found her but try to check any dark place in the house.

He was camped out two days later on the cats liter box, not the smartest place for a baby snake to hide. He ate and drank later that night, he's fine. Thanks for tips.
