Maybe tommy girl puts mice or snakes in their perfume, possible but not likely.
It does sound like he's trying to feed though.

i try to keep it at 1 prey item per feeding, even if it means increasing prey size. General rule is no more than 1 and 1/2 times the largest part of the snake (though I like to go with a prey item the same size)

my king snake is about 2 1/2 to 3 foot and I feed him a regular mouse every thursday its a little bigger than his girth but thats the only size I have availiable execpt pinkies and rats but he take's it fine with out a problem.and the lump where you can tell he ate is gone within about 48hours probably less

I've found it best to feed based on behavor of the snake itself in line with a feeding schedule of every 4-7 days and one item per feeding. If you watch your snake well you should see that after feeding it's activity level in it's cage will drop. Once your snake is active again 2-3 days later. Wait one to three days to feed. I like to vairy the time between activiy and feeding some times food crosses your door, sometimes you have a while to wait. Also a hand clenser by the cage helps to get rid of any smells that may trigger a feeding respose.

I know many a person says try feeding it a mouse and it is way huger then he is...I don't mean a little bit bigger then his girth I mean a lot...Even the fuzzys are. He's 2 and a half feet long but he's very norrow because I was feeding him all pinkies for the longest time because of what pet store told me...stupid pet store. So what are your guys sudgestions on feeding him?
