New King Snakes
Well, this is my first pair of Kings, and I just couldn't pass them up. I was selling corns and Rat Snakes at a show in November last year, and one of the other vendors had this pair up for sale, and I made a split second decision, and walked home with these two beautiful MBK's. The male is calm and easy going, likes to be handled, but the female is just bonkers. She is a runner, and when picked up musks so much that it runs down my hands. Both are jet black, but the male has a little bit of white on the underside of his neck, and one little lonely white splotch half way down his belly.
Anyway, here they are...Enjoy.
Male
Female

Great looking Kings!!!!!!
I here they are great snakes to have, Handle very well. Young kings will be runners but mellow out with age. If you handle the male first, wash before handling the female. I've had snakes go nuts when they pick up the scent of a more dominate snake.

they're very beautiful. i've only ever seen one black king in person when I used to work at a pet store. he was nippy in the tank but after he was out and handled for a little while he was happy. he also had a patch of white under his chin. thanks for sharing the pics.
