Cali king care

I'm thinking about gettin a cali king very soon..as in right after christmas. I have almost got the rents persuaded...kind sorta. I wanted to see if I could get all you cali king owners out there to post pics of your snakes and enclosures. I am really looking for enclosure pics for setup ideas, but the more pics I have the merrier .

yes, all the research has been done and I have a 10 gal to start with, and then a 20 gal, and i'll go from there. I plan to start the baby I get on pinkie mice and get into small rats instead of large mice as soon as I can. I heard that rats are much more nutritional to feed anyways.

any tips or advice would be very helpful, i am a newbie to snakes and this will be my very first one. *bubbles over with excitement*

Adam I have seen some very manageable Cal Kings but I have also seen some whose greatest love in life seemed to be gnawing on their owners.
I have one that routinely bites me yet has never offered to bite my wife.
This is Gilda

Her home is a plastic sterilite container.

I never thought that reptiles could like or dislike someone? I have known this is true from other animals like bunnies and birds but reptiles.

Kings can have attitudes sometimes. Here is my old Black King. He was sweet as everything until one day - then he bit me at every opportunity.

Some kings never bite, some bite from the start, others develop the tendancy.

It varies from snake to snake; but corns, as a whole, seem to be a more docile snake than kings.

I now have to stop saying tha my wife can handle our Cal king without problems. She nailed her good last night and it was a feeding type respose. Took a little dose of alcohol to get her to turn loose.
Kathy has now joined the ranks of the have been bitten club!

We've had kingsnakes in at work that loved being handled and never would bite anyone....then again, the majority would bite, thrash, and urinate/musk all over whoever was trying to handle it.
