New terrarium:yes or no??

I would like to build a new and bigger terrarium for my Sinaloan milk. But as I had her for only about 7 weeks,do you think it's wise to change her already to a new home? She is now about 45cm(ca.1,5foot) and lives in a 80x50x50cm(32"x20"x20") terrarium.
I read once that in the beginning the terri shouldn't be too big,or the snake becomes more shy.But as mine isn't really a baby anymore(sept'03) just a bit on the small side for her age, what would you suggest?I'd really would love her to have a terri about 120cmx60cmx70cm (48"x24"x28")where she can roam around.
What advice would you give me? Would be happy to get some opinions.
Thanks!!

If you want to change her up to the larger tank go ahead. I am not a devotee of the idea that a larger tank makes the snake shy. As long as there is plenty of available cover and easy access to food and water the snake will be fine. Where snakes get stressed over the larger enclosure are cases where it is put in a large, basicly bare, tank and feels exposed. In order to get from one patch of cover to water or to the next patch if the snake has to go a long way out in the open it feels vulnerable.

I totally agree Merlin. We plan on putting our new red tail boa in a 55 gal. by weeks end. That's 2 weeks in the 10 gal. We will have plenty of hides and water bowl to make him feel at home.
