So I've been caring for Palaeomike's (hereafter known as just mike) herps for a few days now. Today is the day I fed the black mexican kingsnake that likes everyone...but me. When he got her, she was sweet to everyone, but viciously tagged me for no reason at all. Had to use vodka to get her off..that's how adamant she was, just to be near me.

Suffice to say I've avoided her mostly, as most snakes don't like me. Another reason why I personally don't own one.

Today I went in to feed her. Had the mouse all ready, but as usual, she was hiding under something. I moved the cave, and this is unusual for her, she struck at me and the cave repeatedly. Then went on to strike the mouse, tweezers, house and at me many more times. I dropped the mouse in and left before I was tagged.


Has anyone else had an experience where normal snakes that like everyone just HATE one person?
