Runny Poo's

I fed my Cali king last night a standard pinkie and she has just had a runny poo. its both white and black in colour just runny.

Is there anything wrong or just one of those things?

she has just shed fine no problems, any ideas?

really? is it that bad? just thought it was a runny poo!!! anything else it could be?

Well, parasites is what comes to mind at first. Bag the poop up and send it to your vet, have him check for paraites. Thats the only reason I can think of that would cause runny poo.

is it something that I have done? or not got right? how could it have happened? how do you prevent it from happening?

That'll please the GF not only dead mice in the freezer but also snake poo! lol she will be happy

well as sav said...get a fecal done. If ya want to ya can do one yourself..... if the poo has a salty taste then it is sure for parasites...but you must have some before it dries up...runnier the better..

*please note the above statement is a joke...do not attempt to consume any reptile poo!*

but on a serious note... just go to a vet and get the fecal done... i was probably from before you had the snake.... general enclosure hygiene is the most you can do to avoid parasites...also if you get any new additions they must be quarantined
