Help!! Does anyone know about kingsnakes? I have one that never came out of hibernation. She hasn't eaten in 7 months! I have tried everything. Any ideas? How long can a snake last without food? Any advise would be helpful.

You need to wake her/him up. Healthy snakes can go for very long periods of time without prey. 7 months is a long time, so I would suggest you increase the temps in the enclosure and extend the amount of time the snake has light. This will help the snake to realize that it is now "summer" and should help wake him up.

I would offer a small prey item after a few days of the snake being "awake".

Has the snake been drinking water? Have you seen the snake move at all?

what are the temps and what are you feeding it?

I agree with Rich...are you feeding live or frozen thawed...do you feed in the cage or a feeding bin? what substrate? let us know.......oh and by the way...Welcome to HC network! Hope your kingsnake comes around for you.
